About Stell

Stell helps engineers and buyers at new space companies spend more time building and less time managing spreadsheets/PDFs through our modern supplier quality portal. We empower the supply chain and build solutions that work for machine shops and suppliers.

Our platform is digitizing the relationship between aerospace companies and their suppliers with a living Specification workflow.  Requirements + deliverables are enshrined and searchable, enabling on-time and on-quality parts.

We want to fix the most prevalent issues in the aerospace & defense supply chain.

In this Senior Software Engineer role you will:

• Work with the CEO/Head of Product and Head of Engineering to develop, deploy, and maintain a highly reliable and performant enterprise web application
• Partner with space start-ups and machine shops to create solutions that enable them to collaborate and communicate technical information more efficiently
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews. As an early member of a nascent engineering team, you will have outsized influence on important technical decisions
• Build prototypes to prove out and test new technologies and tradeoffs
• Own all aspects of software engineering from the database to JavaScript in the front-end, to automated testing, cloud deployments, application security, and everything in between
